The connections all expected Pack Leader to make the final field (quite rightly in my opinion) and as such Pack Leader was ( and if something is scratched will be) Fourie’s July ride.
Hence he took a different ride in the other race as PL was not expected to be relegated.

Justin Snaith likes confirming his jocks early hence he could nor switch
To Pack Leader in the consolation race and let down Justin Snaith
