Most probably would have objected because your fancy hung in, the winner had to switch out and was finishing the better - connections would have been silly not to object if they didn't win.

yes but would they have gotten the race - I have seen really bad incidents where a horse should get the race in my mind and does not - I have no doubt F Dame should have won but because the rules are open to interpretation who actually knows -

Was listening earlier to an "interview" with Craig Zackey, and he said that Mississippi Burning (brilliant movie by the way) was the smallest filly he ever rode. Have any of you heard that Greyville suits the smaller horses because it is such a tight track? Not saying all small horses win every time they run at Greyville. Think she's worth a punt.
