Gutsy win by Dawn Surprise.
Stroopsoet showed pace and then faded out at Fairview on Friday.

One runner at Durbanville on Monday.
Ruby's Fortress in race 3. Very poor debut in the soft last month. Gets the 4kg claim and should be looking for this trip, so hopefully will show improvement.

Another poor effort by Ruby's Forttress

One runner at Fairview on Friday
Lyrics and Songs in race 2. Moderate debut, but some excuses, and looked badly in need of it.
Tries the poly today, and gets a nice draw. Should improve, but this family need at least a mile.
Tricky Race. Royal Mermaid is highest rated but drops back in trip and on poly so it should be too sharp for her. Midnight Music is capable but off form.
Amanatto consistent form.
However, I like Ziets's filly Elusive Bomba- good improvement last time and gets the claim off her back.

Lyrics scratched at start.
One runner at Greyville Friday night.
De Vlugge in race 5. Gutsy win when stepping up to this distance last time. This is stronger, an an open race, but she must have an ew chance.

Poor ride on De Vlugge- stuck out wide for most of the way. Ran on well in 4th in a blanket finish.

One runner at Durbanville on Saturday.
Call to Unite in the Settlers. He won this race last year, but had a better prep.
Fair comeback run over shorter, and this is his trip. Very open race- if his breathing doesn't bother him he can win.

Call to Unite faded out tamely.

One runner at Turffontein on Sunday.
On an Impulse in race 3. Looks the best of the 3yos, but the older horses have a big WFA advantage over ground at this time of year.
Asiah’s Tiara is best weighted, and Inclusion next best. These two should fight it out  On an Impulse should run into the money. Military Moves was well beaten on debut but the winner of that race is very highly rated so must be respected.
