Re: HOLLYWOODBETS GREYVILLE - DAILY NEWS 2000 RACE DAY
1 hour 23 minutes agoAnd 'The Handicappers' were of the opinion that she is much better than the males .... still one has to give excuses for her run today .... so perhaps she was not as happy today as in Gauteng ....Gauteng Fillies weak ...Hazy Dazy ...very poor
Very poor Triple Tiara...only Daisy bothered for the mile against wish list and none bothered for Woolavington...Cape and KZN Fillies better...Hazy might well have done better in the Woolhavington
as I said in my Post the other time, HAZY DAZY is better over a mile....she will be a Champ over a mile!!!! Max 1800m. She got the extra distances in Gtg because the races was slowly run and because of her class. She is also a horse with a Massive stride. So the tight turns are not ideal, put her over 1600m at Scottsville or Turffies and you will see her real class. Similar to JVG....his best distance is 1400 - 1600m and he IS NOT as good as people think he is

Re: HOLLYWOODBETS GREYVILLE - DAILY NEWS 2000 RACE DAY
14 minutes agoGood call, Bayern...Going to trust Andrew Fortune, said that Wish List and Note To Self are the best 3 year olds over ground in the country, good enough for me.
It won like a champ...
Was on the course, Wish List won a good race.
Caught the last double 50/1, needless to say i screamed the View Room down for Black Forest.
Must say, never believed Jan Van Goyen stayed beyond 1600m, think they should have missed today's race and had a go a next week's race, not that i backed him today, just couldn't see why all the talk.
Conversely, think they should have a tilt at the Gold Cup with Curious Girl.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
