What are the average odds at the off of winners in SA?

Last time I looked at this I believe it was 7-1? If that's the case building a "dream" bet for horse racing is child's play. 6 legs 100000-1 + some!

that would just be multiple odds what about probability ? 7/1 chance has a 12.5% chance of winning but the bookies have their take built in about 2%

can someone work out the real odds

Each race is an individual event, so not really sure of the question

If the average is 7/1 it means in theory that even money shots win and so do 14/1 shots, so do 1/7 and 100/1 shots to bring an average of 7/1
